Condensation Facts

Facts about condensation: All air has droplets of water in it which is called water vapour
because you can’t see it.

Warm air has more water vapour than cold air.

When you have a cold drink, the air beside the glass becomes
cold and cold air can not hold as much water as warm air so the
glass sweats. This means that the
water vapour has turned to water droplets and forms on the
outside of your glass.

Condensation is the change from water vapor that you can not
see, to water droplets that you can see.

Examples of condensation are: steam on the mirrors after a
shower, dew on grass in the morning, water gathering on the
outside of a cold beverage, cloud formations.
