Times Tables Tests Worksheets

Times Tables Tests

When teaching the times tables or the multiplication facts, worksheets like these will help when they are used properly. DO NOT use random multiplication facts until most of the times tables famlies are known. Begin with the 2 times tables, the 5 times tables and then the 10 times tables. Once children know these by memory, begin with multiplication squares (2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, 9x9, 10x10, 11x11, 12x12) For the squares, just use worksheets that focus ONLY on the squares. When a child has these memorized, move to the 3 times tables, the 4 times tables, the 6 times tables, the 7 times tables, the 8 times tables and the 9 times tables. When there is some comfort with each of those times tables, you will then use the random times tables.
