| A community is a group of people who live together in the same place. It can be a town, a city or a neighborhood. In it, people work together to make where they live a better place. There are many different kinds of people. There are families with children, teachers who help us learn, doctors who keep us healthy and firefighters who keep us safe. There are stores to buy things, parks to play at and schools to learn new things. Everyone in a community has a job. We all help each other and are kind to one another.
